This month’s Tchoup Mic Drop brings two standout comics from the Gulf Coast scene to the stage.
Amanda G. has been performing stand-up for over a decade, with credits including The Comedy Store, House of Blues, Bayou Boogaloo, and Jimmy Kimmel’s Comedy Club in Las Vegas. She’s opened for heavy hitters like Michael Che, Sean Patton, and Irene Tu, and currently produces several weekly shows, including the long-running storytelling series Greetings, from Queer Mountain.
Brandon Haynes is a New Orleans-based comedian and host of the podcast Comedy at Uncle Matt’s. Known for his laid-back delivery and sharp timing, he’s been featured at comedy festivals and has opened for a range of nationally touring comics across the South.
